We already know that Claire is pretty fearless going down slides by herself and jumping on trampolines so I wasn't very surprised that she thought bugs were pretty cool too. Yesterday, I showed her a worm I found while digging in the yard and she immediately picked it up to take a closer look. A few moments later though when I turned to check on her, she had it hanging it if her mouth! Bleh! Later that evening while playing with her toys, she came up to me excited to show me something she had found. I reached my hand out to see what it was and was sure surprised what she put in it! It was a big black 100% alive spider! I almost jumped out if my skin! Poor Claire was pretty startled by my reaction too. Probably not quite the excitement she expected from me.
