Claire has learned to push herself up to a sitting position and is also exploring the world of crawling, but she doesn't have it down completely quite yet. She bonked her face on the floor while practicing her new skills and when I picked her up to console her, I realized that she had gotten blood on my shirt. Upon closer inspection, we found that her lip was bleeding and swollen.
Mom was there at the time having just finished watching her for the afternoon while I took an Excel class at the college. This was Claire's first time away from both Mommy and Daddy and although I'm sure Mom was exhausted, Claire did much better than expected. Here Grandma helps Claire ice her fat lip.
Oh, the growing pains. Claire's really been going through it lately, hasn't she.
